I went with Spring this week. I really wanted to take a new picture this week because the grass is getting greener and I'm starting to see buds everywhere. :) Unfortunately I've been a little busy this week having to make an unexpected trip home and then packing to head out to Chicago today. I pulled one from my archives (last spring) but it fits for the challenge.
A tiny little bird. One bird from afar is just fine with me but that's enough. Has anyone noticed that there seem to be an abundance of birds this spring? They are very loud when I'm trying to sleep. I've never been a big fan of birds -- the beady eyes and the beak that could be pecking at me. I can't totally put my finger on it but they're not my favorite. I'll observe them from afar. Now you've learned something new about me. :)
Not sure about my processing on this. Thoughts?

Love the focusing on this. Makes it a little softer - like you'd never know you don't really like birds. :)
ReplyDeletehahaha beady little eyes.... :) Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI adore this. A bird and buds on the tree. This is my spring dream. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I love little birds....big black crows--not so much...but little tweet birds. So I love this photo. When I scrolled down, he was a little surprise and I smiled.
ReplyDeleteI haven't noticed the abundance of birds in our parts of the woods, but now that you mentioned it I will probably start noticing it. Ha!

Hahaha!!! Were your parents big fans of thrillers? My parents are. They made me watch Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" and everytime I see a flock of them, it reminds me of the main character getting pecked to death! I DO love the picture, though!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo! And the cute little birdie. I'm with you on this one - they keep me awake. That's one thing I always notice in spring and summer - the chirpy birds so darn early in the AM.
ReplyDeleteWishing you safe travels to Chicago!! :)
I love bird shots - unfortunately with our cocker spaniel they never stay in the yard very long to take pictures of! I love to hear them though when my windows are open. I love the deep green color in the background.
